What my clients are saying.

“I have been a client of Nate’s for a few years now. He has turned me from someone who hasn’t lifted a weight since college into a seriously strong dude with unbelievable results of how I look! Very thankful I started training with Nate when I did. He also has navigated me through the litany of injuries along the way and I am completely pain free and in the best shape of my life. Thank you Nate!”

“I worked with Nate in the months leading up to my wedding and he helped me achieve all of my fitness and weight loss goals and more! I had always wanted to work with a personal trainer and the wedding seemed like the perfect reason to do so and I am so glad that I did. Before Nate, working out for me meant going for runs or doing fitness classes. I barely knew how to use free weights, let alone use a bench press or squat racks, but after working with Nate, I have so much more confidence in my ability to do proper exercises that actually benefit my body. I was able to run my first half marathon all while learning new workouts that I would have never attempted if I hadn't worked with him. Nate was able to teach me things about nutrition, proper technique and how my body works as a complete function and those things have stayed with me long after us working together. One of my goals was to be able to do push ups properly. Nate gave me the foundation to doing consecutive push ups correctly and feeling strong doing so! I now have the ability to pick up a kettlebell and feel well equipped to do exercises like turkish getups that I was not able to do before. I realized how tight my hips were from years of running and not properly stretching and he gave me exercises that I continue to use to this day to help! The list of benefits that I received from working with Nate goes on and on. I really can't recommend him enough! Thanks for all of your help Nate!”

“I’m 42, full contact karate instructor, been training my whole life, but feeling my age a bit. I hired Nate to help me advance functional strength and general athleticism, in a way that’s calibrated to my age. He was my trainer for a year, very knowledgeable, kept it interesting and fun, thrilled with the results. Would definitely recommend him.”

— Adam C.

— Gerry C.

“Before I met Nate, I never saw myself as a personal training client. I had a 19-year history of dance training prior to having kids: ballet, modern dance, and competitive ballroom and Latin. Aside from competition preparation, group dance and fitness classes had always been enough. When I met Nate, he asked me what my fitness goals were, and I told him that I didn’t have any. He pressed, though, so I told him that I had never been able to do handstands. “Can you teach a woman in her 30s with no prior gymnastics training to do handstands? And oh, by the way, I’ve never liked exercising with weights.” I was skeptical that he could solve this “problem,” but he wrote a 10-session bodyweight training program for me, and after about a month, I found that I had built up the shoulder stability and proprioception needed to do unassisted handstands. At that point, the value of Nate’s programming became obvious. It’s an investment in your physical self.”

”Then COVID happened, and I didn’t see Nate for several months. With kids at home, my quarantine exercise program was limited to jogging, and although my aerobic capacity didn’t suffer, my strength did. Concurrently, I started thinking about the importance of strength training for long-term bone health. Maybe Nate could teach me to enjoy weight training?”

”After an objective functional screening of my strengths and weaknesses and with consideration to my preferences and motivations, Nate introduced me to kettlebells. I had never picked up a kettlebell in my life, but they were a good choice: fun for someone who loves mobility; highly effective for someone who wants the benefits of strength training; and satisfying for someone who enjoys learning and developing movement technique. Thanks to Nate’s training, I went from being able to do a single pull-up to sets of 8 in a few months. My untrained, hypermobile shoulders gained the stability pick up a 24 kg (53 lb) kettlebell overhead. My newfound thoracic strength and mobility improved my dance technique. The strength asymmetries and imbalances that became obvious during my initial sessions with Nate were ironed out. And perhaps most importantly, I’ve gained a skill set that that will allow me to develop and maintain my muscle, joint, and bone health for decades to come.”

“Nathan was my personal trainer for several years pre covid. We worked out weekly for an hour. Nathan was totally tuned in to my mental, emotional and physical state, and designed a program around my needs. During our session, he was incredibly focused on me, and was very flexible and was able to adjust on the fly, depending on how I showed up. In addition, Nathan has committed himself to learning about and applying a very broad range of disciplines including flexibility, strength, conditioning, use of equipment, free weights, cards work, nutrition and sports psychology. His breadth of knowledge is truly impressive. I recommend Nathan as a personal trainer very highly. He is the best of the best.”
